Bob Dylan makes his Boston debut.

Dylan performs for the first of two consecutive nights at Cafe Yana at 50 Brookline Avenue. His playlist includes “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Girl From the North Country,” “A Hard Rains A-Gonna Fall,” and “Master’s of War.” Dylan’s first Boston-area appearance was with Carolyn Hester at Club 47 in Cambridge in August 1961. On this trip to Boston, he performs at Club 47 again, with others including Joan Baez, on April 20, 1963.
